A Monday Update
So another hectic week is ahead of me so I figured I’d go light today with a few brief updates. In terms of updates my Must-See Movies of May poll seemed to get no response so I put up a new poll letting you guys pick the next movie I review. These are films I have on my overextended DVR so please let me know what movie you’d like to see featured. The Leading Man tourney is gearing up, the banners will hopefully be posted up on Friday and if you’d like to throw one up on your blog, Facebook, wherever I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ll also be giving away our prize sometime this week! I’m also working on a post about my top ten guilty pleasure movies, we all got them! And I’m on iCheckmovies.com which is a great website where you can keep track of the movies you watch. I found it through Angela, the head of the fantastic Hollywood Revue . If you sign up or already use it please add me, just search for maroon5gurl88! I’m interested in doing something with the TCM schedule. I know many bloggers put up the TCM schedule but I want to add something different. I’m open to suggestions. That’s all for tonight. Sorry for the cop-out post, see you all tomorrow!

I’m curious about The Tempest. Somewhat unpopularly, I was actually very happy with Taymor’s work on Across The Universe.
I’m actually writing a paper on Across the Universe for my Vietnam class. I personally love it too but I’m a musical fan so I forgive a lot of them.
Hey Maroon Girl, I hadn’t heard about iCheckmovies.com so I’ll be checking that out, thanks for the info.
Btw, I voted for Cape Fear for the movie you should review next 🙂
Ruth, you should sign up for icheckmovies. It’s a great little site to keep track of your movie watching progress, plus there are some awesome suggestions to be found on its many different lists (everything from the IMDB Top 250 to the New Cult Canon).
I’m all for revisiting one of Robert Mitchum’s greatest movies!
Sweet, glad to know another fan of icheckmovies! I just added you on there (I am inwhiterooms).
I voted for The Night of the Hunter, a movie so good I had to add a screencap of it to my blog’s banner. 😀
Yay, I’ve made two friends so far on there and I’m sad to say I haven’t completed any of the lists. Night of the Hunter was my first Criterion purchase and any reason to watch it again is good in my book!
