Leading Man Tournament Week 3 Update
Our first update of Week 3 and it’s shaping up to be a dogfight. I’ve gotten more than a few messages about how difficult this year is but I think that speaks to the caliber of actors that epitomized the 1950s. Currently there’s a three-way tie that needs to be broken before Sunday! Here’s how the numbers stand at the moment!
John Wayne is in the lead with four votes but also tied with him is none other than:
Mr. William Holden! Yep he’s also nabbed four votes but wait, there’s one other actor tied for four:
Gene Kelly! All three are tied so let’s break that up asap. Where are the other two leading man ranking you ask?
This is surprising, I figured Brando would have a hefty lead here but he’s only secured two votes. Even more surprising is that he’s tied with our last actor
That’s right, James Dean is tied with two. Considering James Dean is the poster child for the 50s I figured he’d be in the lead by now!
One more update coming on Thursday. If there’s a tie I’ll announce how that will work on Sunday. Keep on voting!
