Leading Man Tournament: Week 3 Results
Thanks to all who voted in this one-day tie-breaker poll! Considering that both Gene Kelly and John Wayne were tied before, they certainly weren’t in competition with each other when narrowed down. There were 10 votes cast and by a 7-3 win Gene Kelly has been declared our winner!
Kelly had been in the lead on and off during the week and honestly, I didn’t think he stood a chance compared to bigger stars like the aforementioned John Wayne and William Holden! Gene will be heading to the semi-finals with Errol Flynn (Leading Man of the 1930s) and Cary Grant (Leading Man of the 1940s). Keep voting for the 1960s!

Wow, kinda surprised that Kelly ended up winning.
For the 60s, I have to go with Paul Newman. No doubt about it.
Same here, I didn’t think Kelly would end up in second place for the decade.
I’m surprised Marlon Brando didn’t do better. I’m not complaining about the result, though. I love the man. 🙂
Yeah I wish Marlon at least was second…I’d have been happy lol.
