I wanted to pair up the Veornica inductees (one male, one female), but I seem to have an overabundance of one and a lack of another. This month, I went with one star who deserved a spot in the Hall of Fame, and thus I’ll simply add in stars as they meet my requirements. So, let’s see who will be walking away with a Veronica and entering the Hall of Fame.
Yes, Ms. Barbara Stanwyck has entered into the Hall of Fame and it was a long time coming. She’s become one of the fiercest leading ladies I’ve watched, and while I rag on the plots of her movies for their compromising nature, she’s always phenomenal. The five films that cemented her entry were: Double Indemnity, Remember the Night, Night Nurse, Christmas in Connecticut, and Stella Dallas. I’ve also reviewed her work in Executive Suite, The Two Mrs. Carrolls, and There’s Always Tomorrow. You can find reviews and everything else about Ms. Stanwyck when she joins the other ladies in my Veronicas section! Congrats!
I’ll also be updating review links for all past Veronica winners, so if you’re looking for a particular actor whose been inducted and whatever films I’ve reviewed of theirs you can do so there!
