The Lake Update for March 2014

LakeUpdate

Not much new to report around the Journeys in Classic Film office this month, but I’ll fill you in on what to expect nonetheless.  Since announcing my immersion with Awards Circuit, you’ll notice nothing’s truly changed.  We’re still working out the kinks on a transition plan, so currently you can find my postings both here and at AwardsCircuit.com.  Any special coverage – festivals predominately – will probably go over to AC first, then be reposted here.  Speaking of, fingers crossed I hope to secure press creds for the TCM Classic Film Festival and be able to report on all that.  Nothing is set for now, but feel free to send me some good vibes!  Later today, you’ll be able to vote on the first part of the 2014 Classic Movie Actress Tournament, co-hosted by myself, Monty of All Good Things, Desiree of Rosalind Russell: Dazzling Star, and John of Mythical Monkey.  I’m covering the 1940s bracket and you can start voting this afternoon.  Part one runs between Sunday and Wednesday, with part two going from Thursday to Sunday.  And that’s all to report on this month!  I told you it was pretty dead around these parts.  School is full-steam ahead and I hope to have a few weeks of free-time during Spring Break, so until then keep reading and commenting!
