New Feature: Top Posts of the Week

Top10

My blog started out as a piddly site where I’d post when I felt like it.  Now, posts happen almost daily and it’s easy to understand some readers might miss reviews/articles here and there.  With that, I’m implementing a new weekly feature entitled, VL’s Top Posts of the Week.  Every Sunday I’ll count the ten most-read posts of the week, in case you’ve missed something new or an old favorite.  I’m still debating whether to limit this strictly to reviews, but for this inaugural post I’ll everything.

TCMTop10

10.  The TCM Top 10 for May 2014

9. Stella Dallas

With Mother’s Day I expected a few of my mother-related movie reviews to get some play.

8. Saturday Night Fever

I continue to receive comments, pro and con, with regards to my review of John Travolta’s disco drama.

7. Veronica: The Autobiography of Veronica Lake

I’m very interested to know people are stopping by to read my review of Veronica’s autobiography.  I’ve been doing a lot with regards to Veronica over the last few months, much of it unknown to readers, so looks like it’s not all for naught.

6. The Sex Symbol

I’m pretty sure the only reason this ranks so high is because of spammers taking note of the title.

5. Nicholas and Alexandra

Was it an anniversary of some sort?

4. Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation

News

3. News from the Lake for May 7th, 2014

2. Imitation of Life (1934)

Another whose popularity this week was expected due to the holiday.

1. Born Yesterday

A whopping fifty-five views for my review of the hilarious Born Yesterday!
