The Lake Update for November 2016

LakeUpdate

Hello to all my fantastic JCF readers! As you’re reading this I’m winging my way to sunny Disneyland for a few days of respite. Hopefully that’ll recharge my batteries enough to get through the end of the year, or at least till TCMFF in April.

As you’ve probably noticed over the last few months, poor Journeys in Classic Film has taken a downturn in the updating department. As I’ve gotten deeper into outside writing projects that have yielded more of an income, I’ve found myself juggling a lot of projects. I’m preparing to start cutting back on projects once the year is over, if only to give myself a break and make writing (and movie watching) fun again. What does this mean to you amazing readers? Well, first off, the site isn’t going anywhere! Journeys in Classic Film is my calling card and I maintain it’s a fundamental reason why I am where I am. With that being said, updates might be sporadic between now and January as I get my ducks in a row. If you’re willing to be patient I can promise the site will come roaring back to life. December is usually the time when I repost Christmas reviews anyway, so nothing too worrisome there. I’ll also be preparing my big year-end best and worst list.

Hope you all had a great Halloween and are ready to close out the year with Journeys in Classic Film and I!
