Ticklish Business: Holiday Gift Guide (2021)

Goodness, gracious me. How is it the holidays already? Well, we here at Ticklish Business have been hard at work putting together our thoughts for our annual gift guide. We flit around the various corners of the interwebs looking at stuff we really want to buy, so you don’t have to!

We’re changing up the formatting a bit this year, but the thought remains the same. Clink on the link and you should find yourself able to purchase the good stuff.

Let’s get to the fun stuff!

Books! Books! Books!

It was a heck of a year for books in 2021. Between all the golden age celebrity memoirs and the heaps of delightfulness coming out of the TCM Library, there are tons of things meant to fill the stockings of any classic entertainment fan.

DVD:

The word of the year has of course been streaming. Everyone and their cousin have a streaming app now. We all know that classic film fans have to dig a little to find their favorites available to stream. However, we all know that there’s still plenty of goodness to be had with physical media… besides, who is to say that our favorites will always be available to stream. They can’t delete our DVDs!!!

Obviously, we can’t begin to make a dent on the plethora of interesting discs hitting the market this year… but here’s an attempt.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
